About this deal

I never personally had a problem with it though; I’m now just extra careful and try not to get it on my skin. I did think about having a page about it, but I could never keep it updated so I’ll post it up occasionally just to update things. With such fine grit, this face scrub can be “rolled” over the skin without over-exfoliating and causing trauma to the skin. You see, I don’t know if it’s that synthetic wax ingredient in there, but I find that there’s a film on my skin after using this.

The beauty of a product like this one (whether it be the new limited-edition number or the original), is that it puts skin health first.Just like with any oily remover, you need to use other product afterwards to make sure to clear everything away, and I also use a toner in the end before finally moisturising. But that’s actually not the real problem; I am fairly acne-prone and have used this butter for two years without any incidents — no, the real problem comes in the form of parfum, linalool, and limonene. As a self-confessed lazy girl, Shannon has an affinity for hard-working perfumes, fool-proof make-up products and does-it-all skincare.

This product came up in the comments of my Instagram post recently and several very sophisticated skincare users like it as much as more expensive equivalents. But according to a comparative study done in 1995, citric acid has less skin improving magic properties than glycolic or lactic acid. One round is usually enough to take off all my makeup and sunscreen, so that I can move straight on to my usual cream cleanser. If you like oil cleansers but do not like to remove them with a washcloth, look out for this ingredient to find the perfect emulsifiable, water-rinsable oil cleanser.
